The President's Blog Jan 20th, 2009 WOW! 2009 is starting out to be a big year. This is Any Time Child Care's (ATCC) third year and as we're reflecting on '08 it makes me proud to see so many great friends and supporters still standing with us. Enough of the mushy stuff. I love this company and all the people that share in it's success. When Laura and I started out it was us and 3 employees. There were 12 children total and she and I spent a lot of time with a little boy named Armando. He alone stayed past 6pm, and he was the first child to use us for extended care. It was a lot of fun and I couldn't be criticized for watching Disney movies. I could watch Hercules and The Empire's New Groove a thousand times if she'd let me. Back to talking about the daycare. Well it took the Cove center a few months to grow and after a bunch of knocks to the head it became a self sustaining business. I was a Chef Manager for a restaurant chain called Rock Fish, in Austin and it was time to put 20+ years of restaurant life behind me. It was hard but Laura was going to kill me if I didn't quit and focus on our business. I sat around for 3 months till I was bored out of my mind and Laura was poking at me to do something more because she knew that what we had isn't enough mind candy for me. Well she got the surprise of her life, because I decided that we're going to grow ATCC to a national level. That is why we now hold the Trademark on Any Time Child Care and we're opening our fourth center.......OK I'm getting ahead of myself and I have to go for now. Home Depot awaits. We have created this Blog in order to communicate to you the parent and or customer in a broad spectrum and hopefully get our news out there. We will announce any big events or upcoming events concerning the child care center or many of the other things we offer here at Any Time Child Care. To let you know what we have going on now on our website, we have our online shopping mall which is a list of the best retailers we can find offering you a variety of products and services at the best prices. We also included a few coupons for you to use with some of the retailors. We have listed some of the utility options you have here in Central Texas just incase you are new to the area or are looking to save some money by switching your current provider. We also have pictures of all our Any Time Child Care centers on here for you to see.
